Arebbusch Travel Lodge Photograph Competition Winners
The winners of Arebbusch Travel Lodge’s latest website competition that closed on the 31st of October 2011 have been announced!
1. First place was won by Mr. Dewet Botes from Windhoek who took home a MSI CR620 laptop compliments of Pepper IT.
2. Second place was won by Mr. Pieter Groenewald – also from Windhoek – and he won a Dolphin Cruise for Two with Levo Tours – compliments of Levo Tours.
3. The both Third and Forth place was won by Mrs. Ursula Rauter – another resident of Windhoek – she won a dinner for two at Arebbusch Travel Lodge and 4 cases of Castle Lite – compliments of SAB-Miller.
In addition – all of the aforementioned contestants also won a “Songs For Japan CD” - Sponsored by Arebbusch Travel Lodge.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and please keep a close eye on the Arebbusch Facebook fan page and website for the next exciting competition.

Apple Users Alert!
For all of our esteemed clients who use apple devices – Arebbusch Travel Lodge is proud to announce that it has had a custom icon designed which you can add to your desktop.
Adding it to your “desktop” on your Apple device will allow you quick and easy access to our website.
These are the instructions for installing/adding it:
1. Go to your Safari browser and search for Arebbusch Travel Lodge.
2. Follow the link to the Arebbusch Travel Lodge website – www.arebbusch.com
3. Once on the Arebbusch Travel Lodge website select “Add to Home Screen”
4. Edit the name to “Arebbusch” and select “Add”
Voila – you will have the custom designed Arebbusch icon on your “desktop” allowing you quick access to the Arebbusch website!
Another way that we are trying to make engaging with Arebbusch Travel Lodge that bit easier!
New Premium Burger Range at Arebbusch Travel Lodge
Arebbusch Travel Lodge is proud to announce the launch of its new Premium Burger Range:
1. No Name (Salsa) Burger
2. No Name (Seafood) Burger
3. No Name (Camembert) Burger
4. No Name (Cheese and Avo) Burger
Problem is that we don’t have proper names for them yet – so we will be asking for your assistance in naming them shortly AND for your troubles we might just be sending you and a partner away for a weekend at one of Taleni Africa’s accommodation establishments in Namibia! In the meantime though – come and try them at the Arebbusch Restaurant and start thinking about names for them, and keep an eye on our Facebook page for the start of the competition!

SPCA Windhoek – Certificate of Appreciation
Arebbusch Travel Lodge has been awarded a Certificate of Appreciation for a donation that we made to the Windhoek SPCA towards their stall at this years Bank Windhoek Kid’s Fun Fair. Thank you Windhoek SPCA for the sterling job that you do – it is a pleasure to be able to assist you.

Hospitality Association of Namibia – Congress, HTTF & Exhibition 2011
Arebbusch Travel Lodge is very proud to have hosted the Hospitality Association of Namibia’s Congress, HTTF and Exhibition on the 24th and 25th of November 2011.
The Congress took place from 7:30 am until 12 midday on Thursday the 24th of November. The theme was trends in tourism with a focus on technology. A number of very interesting topics were discussed by a number of very engaging speakers:
1. Hein Liebenberg from Standard Bank Namibia discussed Performance Management
2. Wilko Aschenborn from Intouch did a presentation on the MyNamibia Internet Marketing Platform
3. Robert Bernatzeder from the Biggest Leaf spoke about Search Engine Optimisation
4. Leon Lategan from Purple Cow Communications addressed the topic of Coversion Marketing
5. Brandon Munro discussed synergies between the Mining and Tourism sector on behalf of Bannerman Resources.
The Congress was open to anybody who wished to attend - a minimal attendance fee was payable and Gitta Paetzold was the person to contact at the HAN offices for more information: +264 61 222904
Lunch then took place after which the Suppliers Exhibition and HAN Tourism Trade Forum (HTTF) began.
Both the HTTF and Suppliers Exhibition continued throughout Thursday afternoon and all day Friday.
