National Geographic – Frans Lanting’s Namibian Photograph – Painting or Photograph?
“Is it a photographer or is it a painting?”
A photographer who does work for the National Geographic – Frans Lanting captured this surreal landscape image in Namibia at a location called Dead Vlei. Due to the nature of the lighting in the frame and a multitude of other factors, the photograph appears almost like a painting. Ever since the time that it was released and published on the internet, the conversation has been raging on about it – “Is it a photograph or is it a painting?”
