From Gold to Diamond as Arebbusch wins coveted PMR.africa 2020 award

Windhoek, Namibia – The latest good news from the hospitality sector is that one of Windhoek’s favorite natural escapes on the edge of the city has just been recognized as a top Namibian function and conference service provider once again.

Arebbusch Travel Lodge is a long-established and affordable accommodation, function, and conference facility located in a natural setting within Windhoek. It’s a true credit to this establishment that they’ve been able to keep their momentum going and maintain their high standards throughout the devastating pandemic which has wreaked havoc on the industry in general.

The Diamond Arrow Award is the brainchild of PMR.africa and has been awarded for over 30 years. This award celebrates excellence in the areas of conferencing and function services in Namibia.

• the Golden Arrow, which acknowledges local investment initiatives

According to the award originators, PMR.africa, the awards are the result of extensive research involving prominent Namibian business owners, company directors, managers, CEOs, MDs, and government officials.

During this process, this esteemed panel considers respondent perceptions when making their call, placing significant emphasis on the areas of guest/client satisfaction and customer service.

Ratings work on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (outstanding).

Some of the criteria include “levels of managerial expertise; those who have done most to enhance the economic growth and development of Namibia; brand awareness, implementation of corporate governance; and levels of innovation.”

For the last two years, Arebbusch Travel Lodge has been recognized with the Golden Arrow award and are ecstatic to add the Diamond Arrow status to their coveted awards.

This year, the entire marketing management team of Arebbusch Travel Lodge, comprising Lizé Ackermann (Customer Relationship Manager), Robert Nienaber (Chief Marketing Officer), and Madely Vries (Acting Head of Conferences and Functions), were delighted to receive the award on behalf of all their colleagues at Arebbusch Travel Lodge.
