Spend Valentine’s Day 2016 in the lap of luxury at Arebbusch Travel Lodge

Victor

While Windhoek may not immediately spring to mind as the place to spend a romantic weekend, there is no shortage of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day while indulging yourself with Windhoek accommodation this February 14th.

Arebbusch Travel lodge itself offers plenty of opportunity to indulge in some private time with your significant other, offering a choice of accommodation to meet your requirements and budget.

Spoil yourself with a couple of nights in a luxury room filled with elegant furnishings and soft linens on a comfortable queen-sized bed, tea and coffee making facilities, HD television, an electronic safe and a full bathroom with bath and shower.

Our self-catering units are fully equipped to help you whip up something special for your loved one, or you can arise in the morning to a delicious range of breakfast options served at the onsite restaurant. If breakfast in bed is the preferred option for you, you are welcome to avail yourselves of room service from 6h30 am until 9pm daily.

Outside of your love nest, you will find a sense of peace and tranquillity, accentuated by cheerful birdsong, burbling fountains and lovely manicured gardens. Settle down alongside the sparkling pool for a relaxing afternoon sipping cocktails in secluded and peaceful surroundings, or take a walk through the abundant greenery to make a wish in the fishpond.

The restaurant at Arebbusch Travel Lodge is perfect for a romantic lunch or dinner any time of the year with inspired meals created by our dedicated chefs and efficient, friendly and discreet serving staff to cater to your every whim.  The full a’ la carte menu is a delight, with something to please every palate, while our specials are a treat with something different up for grabs every day, and the dessert menu is beyond scrumptious, with delicious fresh cakes and tarts to finish off the perfect meal.

If you can’t find a babysitter for your big day out, never fear, the adjacent children’s playground is a hit with youngsters of all ages, allowing you much needed time for whispering those sweet nothings so essential to any romantic outing. You can rest assured that your little ones are kept busy in a secure, safe environment while you get on with your well-earned time together.

As usual, we have put together a wonderful Valentine’s Dinner to make your night even more special this year. Join us for a celebration of love starting off with a refreshing cocktail and oven-fresh cheese and herb bread, followed by a choice of plump lemon-garlic prawns and toasted French loaf, beef carpaccio or sweet and spicy stir fried mushrooms and toasted French loaf.

The main event features grilled hake complimented by orange and olive salsa, succulent roast fillet with lashings of chilli and pepper butter, sherry-infused lamb shank, chicken breast bulging with basil cream cheese and wrapped in Parma ham, or coconut vegetable curry with papadum.

To accompany your main course you will enjoy chips, mash, boiled and baked potatoes, or rice, with a choice of salad or vegetables as well.  The piece de resistance is dessert, comprising a choice of chocolate cherry brownies and ice cream, fudgy peanut butter and chocolate hearts with mixed berries and ice cream, or tiramisu with cream.

While we won’t be offering our usual A la Carte menu during this time, you can join in the sumptuous feast for just N$275 per adult from 6pm to 10pm on the day, and the kiddies menu will still be available.

Please book and pay by 11 February 2016 to secure your spot.  Charlene Grace will be happy to take your reservations on 061 25 2255 or via email – [email protected].

We look forward to seeing you there.
