If you just happen to be fortunate enough to be spending time in Windhoek during February you are in luck. Our Valentine’s Day dinner, served from 6pm to 10pm, is the ultimate in spoiling your loved one, or yourself, on 14 February this year.

The event is open to both guests of our luxury Windhoek accommodation as well as the general public – so book as soon as you can via email or call Charlene Grace on 061 25 2255.

Here’s the deal

After settling in over a welcome drink of refreshing cranberry pineapple punch, couples can choose their preferred dishes from the following:

Starters:

• Lemon garlic prawns served with toasted French loaf
• Roast beef crostini with balsamic onion jam on a crisped baguette, or
• Roasted vegetable salad with avocado dressing

Mains:

• Lamb shanks braised with tomato
• Roast beef fillet, roasted garlic and mustard cream
• Butter chicken curry, or
• Grilled hake and balsamic butter

Accompanied by chips, rice, mash, boiled or baked potato as well as the salad or vegetable of the day.

Dessert is a romantic treat with a choice of:

• Chocolate malva pudding drenched in custard or ice cream
• Coconut panna cotta topped with strawberry sauce, or
• Chocolate raspberry-cream cake accompanied by ice cream or cream

No babysitter? No problem

The standard kiddies menu will be available on the night if the youngsters need to tag along.

Children can be occupied in the capable hands of one of our babysitters (pre-booking required), or can amuse themselves in our games room or at the playground which is located in full view of the restaurant.

The restaurant at Arebbusch Travel Lodge is a perfect setting for an intimate idyllic meal, and our expert chefs and dedicated staff are on hand to spoil you every day of the year with discreet professional and friendly service as well as an ever-evolving menu and regular specials.
