Beautiful gardens that merge with the natural veld surroundings, the soothing sounds of the finches chirping in the trees and the burbling of the fountain in the fishpond, create a serene and homely ambiance in which one can unwind.  Relax and prepare for tantalising aromas that tease the taste buds and enticing flavours that seduce the palate, while the children make good use of their energy in the state-of-the-art playground area.

Seating is available both indoors as well as outdoors and well-trained, service orientated and friendly staff invite one to experience the culinary delights that await, regardless of whether you are having a romantic dinner with a significant other or socialising with friends.

The children’s playground, located right next to the restaurant, encompasses both indoor and outdoor areas for hours of youthful fun regardless of the weather.  Indoor entertainments include a variety of age-appropriate tv games to keep the youngsters busy, while the outdoor area is great for active sunny-day fun.  The swings, slides, rope climb, fireman’s pole and swinging bridge are a big hit among the little ones, and children of overnight guests and day visitors alike are invited to join in the fun and meet new friends at the playground.

The restaurant is open 7 days a week (including most public holidays) from 6:30am until 10:00pm and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Light meals and snacks are served throughout the day, as well as delectable home-baked cakes, so you can pop in for a quick bite or a ‘cuppa’ at any time.

At the Arebbusch Travel Lodge Restaurant, we lay on a full breakfast buffet spread every day to get you off on the right foot, and at lunch and dinnertime, we offer an a la carte menu from Monday to Sunday. On selected Sundays, usually at month end, our lavish Sunday Buffet Lunch is a fitting and delicious end to the week for families, young and old. Our speedy and efficient service won’t keep you long if you are needing a quick well-earned mid-morning or afternoon break from the office, or your daily round; although you are welcome to join us for a lengthy business lunch or relaxing family mealtime too.

An extensive range of alcoholic beverages is available, including a number of exotic cocktails, while the wine list presents a variety of suitable vintages to accompany your meal.  Those who would rather not indulge will find plenty to choose from on the non-alcoholic beverages menu.
