Deep fried camembert with cranberry sauce, crumbed calamari with tartare sauce, garlic snails, and vegetable spring rolls with sweet chili sauce are just some of the delectable starters that are available to whet the appetite and prepare one for the taste sensations that await.

Enticing main courses of Seafood, Chicken, Pork, Pasta, Lamb, Beef and Vegetarian dishes are available at lunch and dinnertime on our A La Carte Menu. Some of the temptingly tasty dishes you can look forward to include exotic African curry chicken, calamari steak with garlic butter, crispy pork eisbein, pasta alfredo, vegetable quiche, the unique Arebbusch Rump Steak, grilled and topped with mushrooms, chilies and melted cheese, and last but not least, the venison sirloin steak, grilled and served with a sauce of your choice.

The Children’s menu features the favorite dishes of budding foodies everywhere. There are chicken nuggets, burgers, hot dogs, or viennas and chips up for grabs. Plain and simple, just the way the little ones like them.

“The piece de resistance” is a range of tempting delights to induce a sense of euphoria in all those with a sweet tooth. Chocolate brownies, ice cream with or without fruit salad, malva pudding and Amarula crème brule are the perfect end to a perfect meal at Arebbusch Travel Lodge.

If one happens to get peckish in between meals, there is a light meal/snack menu to stave off the hunger pangs.  Try the ever-popular snack basket with samosas, spring rolls, chicken nuggets, calamari rings and French fries. The chicken and beef wraps and the good old standby – the hamburger, are just some of the other lighter options to choose from.

The cakes, tarts and breads, baked to perfection, are a definite must as well! Lemon meringue, peppermint tart and a chocolate cake topped with caramel are just a few of the freshly baked items that are available daily. A slice of cake and pastry heaven awaits all of those who are prepared to venture there.

The wine selection is both well-balanced and extensive. A great deal of care and attention has gone into compiling a wine list that is guaranteed to suit most palates and pockets. From the highly quaffable to the extremely complex, there is something for even the most discerning wine connoisseur. Furthermore, there is a wide variety of beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks to quench any thirst, and for the more adventurous, a colourful array of deceptively delicious and charming cocktails.

To break the fast in the morning, you can look forward to a wonderful selection of delicious eats. The hearty and scrumptious Breakfast Buffet includes a variety of cereals as well as muffins and breads baked to perfection, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cheeses, cold meats, scrambled or fried eggs, omelets, bacon, sausages, coffee, tea and juices. In addition, there are a number of dishes that rotate on a daily basis, such as fried mushrooms, chicken livers, hash browns and fish goujons to add to your plate. In addition, there are always a few gluten free dishes available.

The monthly Sunday Lunch Buffet offers a wide range of popular eats. This appetizing feast usually features an array of salads, four meat dishes, two vegetables, a starch and 3 desserts. Coleslaw, beetroot salad, Greek salad, potato salad, pasta salad and carrot salad, are just a few examples of what to expect.

Meat dishes include items such as oxtail stew, roast beef, pork schnitzels, smoked beef brisket, game roulade, beef tongue, hake fish and whole stuffed chicken. Last but not least, desserts that are regularly presented include Ice Cream, Malva Pudding, Custard, Chocolate Brownies, Fresh Fruit Salad, Apple Tart, Chocolate Mousse and a variety of cakes. Trading Hours

Breakfast Buffet – 06:30 till 10:00 (Sunday to Friday) & 06:30 till 11:00 (Saturday)

A La Carte Dining – 10:00 till 22:00 (Monday to Sunday)

Open on most public holidays but please call ahead to avoid disappointment.

Sunday Lunch Buffet – Our Sunday Lunch Buffet is usually held once a month. On the Sundays that it is held the a la carte menu will not be available from 12 midday until 14:30. Please call ahead and watch our social media accounts carefully to avoid disappointment.
